2A11 aluminum sheet is one of the earliest aluminum dura used, commonly known as the standard dura, and belongs to the Al-Cu-Mg series heat treatment alloy. Similarly, 2A11 aluminum alloy can be strengthened by heat treatment. When in the quenching aging state, the machinability of 2A11 aluminum sheet is good, but in the annealing state is poor. However, the spot welding of 2A11 aluminum plate is very good. It can be used under hardened and natural aging conditions, but it is not suitable for gas welding and argon arc welding. At present, 2A11 aluminum sheet has important applications in the manufacture of molds, precision parts, tooling fixtures, and truck components,etc.
1.Plasticity. 2A11 aluminum sheet has good plasticity in annealed, hardened and hot states.
2. Machinability. After quenching and cold work hardening, the machinability of 2A11 aluminum alloy is better.
3. Corrosion Resistance. The corrosion resistance of 2A11 aluminum sheet is weak. It needs anodizing treatment, painting method, or an aluminum coating on the surface to improve the corrosion resistance.
4. Mechanical Properties. 2A11 aluminum plate tensile strength σb (MPA)≥370, conditional yield strength σ0.2 (MPA)≥215, and elongation δ5 (%)≥12.

2A11 aluminum sheet can be used in the manufacture of Thin/ medium-thick aluminum plates for precision molds, Precision parts, Tooling fixtures, Industrial radiators, Truck components, Car covers, Auto Parts, Rivets, etc.
